Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 August 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how TripleDouble Group Ltd (company number: 13609173), trading as Wilow ("we," "our," or "us"), collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our website at trywilow.com and our advertising analytics platform (collectively, the "Service"). This policy applies to all users of the Service and to all data accessed through third-party advertising platform integrations. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. We are committed to complying with all applicable data protection and privacy laws, including the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, the EU GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive, the CCPA, and the CPRA.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, job title, and password. If you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect payment information through our third-party payment processor, Polar. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

Free Tools and Email Updates

Parts of our website offer free tools, such as the Wilow Ad Library, where you can enter your email address to unlock extra searches, follow a brand, or request a report. When you do, we collect your email address and use it to deliver what you asked for and to send you occasional updates about Wilow. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. We use Loops, an email service provider, to store and send these communications. You can ask us to delete your email address at any time (see Section 4).

Advertising Platform Data

When you connect your Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising account to Wilow, we access data made available through the Meta Marketing API. This includes ad creative assets, campaign and ad set names, ad performance metrics (impressions, clicks, spend, conversions, reach), audience information, and ad status information. We access only the data necessary to provide our Service in accordance with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies. This Privacy Policy will be updated before any additional platform integrations go live.

Uploads and Generated Creative

Where we make creative generation available to you, or where we agree to produce advertising creative for you as a service, you may supply us with images and other material — product photographs, brand assets, existing advertisements, and material supplied as a stylistic or structural reference. We collect and store what you supply, the instructions written to guide the work, and the creative generated in response, together with the record of which material produced which result.

To generate that creative, your uploads and instructions are transmitted to third-party artificial intelligence providers, which process them on their own infrastructure and under their own terms. Those providers may retain what is sent to them, and their terms may permit them to use it to operate and improve their own services. We do not control their retention or training practices. Please do not upload anything you are not willing to have processed on that basis. Uploads are not used to train any model of our own.

Automatically Collected Information

When you visit our website or use the Service, we automatically collect your IP address, browser type and version, device type and operating system, referring URLs, pages visited within the Service, features used, time spent on pages, and approximate geographic location derived from your IP address.

Public Advertising Data

Our free tools display advertising data that Meta makes publicly available through its Ad Library, including the ads that brands are running and aggregated audience reach information published under EU transparency rules. This is public information about companies and their advertising. It is aggregated before we receive it and does not identify individual people. It is separate from the advertising platform data described above, which comes from your own connected ad account.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your account information to create and manage your account, authenticate your identity, process payments, send transactional communications, and respond to support inquiries. We use your advertising platform data solely to provide the core functionality of our Service — to retrieve, organise, and display your ad creatives and campaign performance data. We do not use your advertising platform data for any purpose other than providing analytics, reporting, and insights within the Service. We use your uploads and instructions solely to generate the creative you asked for, to show you your own history of what you made, and to operate and support that feature. We do not use them for any other purpose, and we do not use them to train models. We may send you marketing communications about product updates, which you may opt out of at any time.

3. How We Protect Your Advertising Data

We access your advertising platform data only after you have explicitly authorised the connection via OAuth. We do not sell, rent, lend, or trade your advertising platform data to any third party. We do not use your advertising data for targeting or profiling outside the stated functions of the Service. Our use of Meta API data adheres to Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies. You may disconnect any advertising platform at any time through your account settings.

Service Providers. We share data with trusted third-party service providers (including hosting providers, Polar for payment processing, artificial intelligence providers used to generate creative, and analytics services) who are contractually obligated to protect your data.

Legal Requirements. We may disclose your data if required to do so by law, regulation, or enforceable governmental request.

Business Transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will notify you of any such transfer. We do not sell your personal data to third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. We retain advertising platform data for as long as your account is active and the platform connection is authorised. We retain automatically collected usage data for up to 24 months.

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@trywilow.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." We will delete or anonymise all personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

5. Ad Platform Disconnection

When you disconnect an advertising platform from your account, we stop syncing new data from that platform immediately. Previously synced data will be retained until you request its deletion or delete your account.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you have certain rights under the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA:

Right of Access. You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

Right to Rectification. You may request correction of any inaccurate personal data. You can also update account information directly by logging in.

Right to Erasure. You may request deletion of your personal data (see Section 4).

Right to Restriction. You may request that we restrict or limit the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.

Right to Data Portability. Where applicable, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format. You also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Right to Withdraw Consent. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.

CCPA/CPRA Rights. California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose, and the right to request deletion. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@trywilow.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Security

We implement technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including TLS/SSL encryption in transit, encryption at rest, access controls, regular security assessments, and OAuth 2.0 for advertising platform connections. No method of Internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Essential Cookies. Required for the Service to function, such as maintaining your login session. These cannot be disabled.

Analytics Cookies. We use tools such as Google Analytics to understand how you interact with our Service. You can learn more at google.com/policies/privacy/partners.

Marketing Cookies. We may use marketing cookies to deliver relevant communications. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings or our consent mechanism on the website.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the United Kingdom, including the United States and the EEA. Where we transfer data internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the UK ICO or the European Commission. This includes uploads and instructions sent to artificial intelligence providers, whose processing may take place outside the United Kingdom.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@trywilow.com.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy at trywilow.com/privacy and updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we will also notify you by email.
