AI Creative Tagging
Wilow auto-tags every Meta ad across 4 dimensions — content style, hook tactic, messaging theme, and CTA — using Gemini 2.5 Flash. Labels store once. No manual work required.
Every ad synced to Wilow is automatically labeled across four dimensions using Gemini 2.5 Flash. Labels are stored once per creative: they don't regenerate on every sync, don't get overwritten by metadata changes, and can be corrected by hand at any time.
Every Meta ad creative is labeled across four dimensions: Content Style: the format of the creative: UGC, Product Shot, Demo, Lifestyle, Text-Only, or Animation; Hook Tactic and Opening Text: for video ads, what happens in the first 3 seconds and the exact text of any on-screen or voiceover hook; Messaging Theme: the persuasive angle: Benefit-Led, Social Proof, Urgency, Problem-Agitate-Solve, or Educational; CTA Text and Category: the exact call to action text and its category (Purchase, Education, Lead Gen, etc.).
Labels describe what an ad is: not how good it is. The deliberate scope decision was to avoid effectiveness scoring or improvement suggestions in the tagging layer. Those judgements should come from real performance data, not a vision model's inference from the creative alone. The tagging layer describes; the Creative Leaderboard judges.
When a new ad creative syncs to Wilow, a labeling job runs in the background using Gemini 2.5 Flash. The job completes asynchronously: the Creative Leaderboard is still usable while ads are processing, and ads still being labeled show “Analyzing…” in their tag fields. Labels are stored once they're generated. Future syncs skip already-labeled creatives unless the creative file itself changes: a new video or image file triggers a re-label; budget, status, or audience changes don't.
Every label can be corrected on the Label Management page. Click any content style or messaging theme cell to open a dropdown of allowed values and select the correct one. The correction saves immediately. Once a label is set by hand, it's protected: future automated labeling jobs skip that field. Human corrections are never overwritten. This means that over time, as you correct labels, the quality of the tagging data improves: with the most important creatives labeled exactly as your team would label them.
The Label Management page supports bulk operations. Select multiple ad rows and bulk-reassign content style or messaging theme in a single action. Useful when a batch of ads was labeled inconsistently, or when you're standardising labels after adopting a new creative taxonomy.
Tags become valuable when combined with the Creative Leaderboard. Filter by content style to see whether your UGC ads outperform your product shots. Filter by messaging theme to see whether benefit-led or social proof copy drives a lower CPA. Filter by hook tactic to see which opening strategy correlates with higher engagement. These are the creative direction signals that the best media buyers develop through intuition over years of running ads. Wilow's tagging makes those patterns visible in data, consistently, across your whole account.
