Nobody hand-picked the ads on this page. They are the live Meta ads of leading food and beverage brands, ranked by daily reach, which is the number of people an ad has reached divided by the days it has been running, taken from the delivery data Meta publishes for ads shown in the UK. The ads at the top are the ones reaching the most people today, and when a brand scales a winner or retires a loser, the order moves with it.

Food and drink leans on video harder than almost anyone. 52.5% of live ads are video against 47% across the Index, second only to beauty. It also spreads that video across 7 landing pages, the joint highest on the Index, so the video is doing different jobs rather than one.
The rest of the account is unhurried. 3.1 new ads a week against 4.1 across the Index, and 65% of brands have an ad past 90 days against 58%. Fewer launches, longer lives.

How food and drink brands win on Meta
Food and beverage is a visual category. The brands on this leaderboard, Surreal, Beavertown Brewery and Kendamil among them, invest heavily in high-production imagery and video that makes their product look irresistible. Close-up shots of pouring, tearing, scooping, and steaming dominate the top-performing creatives. The common thread: motion. Static product shots underperform video and animated creatives by a significant margin.
Subscription is the dominant business model in this vertical, and the most effective ads don't sell the product. They sell the subscription experience. The best-performing ads show the unboxing, the first use, the week-by-week experience, not just the product itself. Pact Coffee's ads show the beans arriving through the letterbox. Kendamil's ads show the mixing and feeding routine. The pattern: make the recurring purchase feel like an experience, not a transaction.
UK DTC food brands punch above their weight on Meta relative to their US counterparts. The UK has a concentrated ecosystem of venture-backed food startups that use Meta as their primary acquisition channel, making the competitive intelligence on this leaderboard particularly rich for anyone selling food or drink online.
About this leaderboard
A live leaderboard, not a swipe file
Most ad inspiration libraries are hand-picked: someone saw an ad, liked it, and saved it. This page works differently. It ranks the live Meta ads of leading food & beverage brands by real delivery data, so the ads at the top are the ones actually reaching the most people every day, right now. When a brand scales a winner or retires a loser, the leaderboard moves with it.
How the ranking works
Every ad is scored by daily reach: the number of people it has reached, divided by the number of days it has been running. The reach numbers come from Meta's own ad transparency reports, which publish real delivery data for ads shown in the UK. Daily reach rewards the ads brands are scaling hard today. In the full leaderboard, ads that have stayed live for 90 days or more also carry a proven badge, because a brand only keeps paying for an ad that keeps paying them back.
How to use the leaderboard
Each card above is a live ad, ranked by daily reach, with the brand that runs it. Click a card to open that brand's complete live ad library, including every ad it launched in the last month and its long-running proven winners. Look for the pattern behind the position: the hook in the first line, the format, how many versions the brand is running of the same idea. The link under the grid opens the full leaderboard, where each ad shows its daily reach and opens to the creative, the copy, and the landing page it sends people to.
Learn how creative diversity works
How do you know these are the top ads?
The ranking uses measured delivery data from Meta's ad transparency reports, not editorial opinion. Meta publishes how many people each ad has reached in the UK, and we rank by that number divided by days running. It is the closest thing to a public performance signal that exists for Meta ads.
What does daily reach mean?
Daily reach is the people an ad has reached divided by the days it has been running. Total reach favours whatever is oldest; daily reach shows what a brand is putting real budget behind today. A new ad reaching a million people in its first three days outranks an old ad that collected the same reach over six months.
Which brands are on the leaderboard?
Food & beverage brands that are active Meta advertisers. The grid above shows the brands with a measured ad right now. The full tracked set grows over time and sits at the top of the full leaderboard, where each brand chip links to that brand's full live ad library.
The same ranking runs for eleven other industries: fitness & wellness, B2B software, health & supplements, consumer apps, fashion & apparel, fintech, education, pet care, consumer products, home & lifestyle and beauty & skincare.
Is the leaderboard really live?
Yes. The ads come straight from Meta's Ad Library, and only ads that are currently running can appear. Reach measurement grows as more of each brand's creatives are checked, so positions refine over time. The coverage counter at the top of the full leaderboard shows how much is measured so far.
