"Skaler has way better UX, extension doesn't break all the time."

Skaler and Wilow overlap more than they used to. Both let you research competitor ads; Skaler adds a Chrome extension and a 6M+ ad database, and covers platforms beyond Meta. Wilow has no Chrome extension. Where Wilow is different is that it also connects to your own Meta ad account through the official API and ranks your own creatives by performance, AI-tagged on every sync, which is a job Skaler does not do.

Skaler's entry plan starts at $83/month for one ad account. Wilow Pro is $49/month for up to 10 ad accounts. Wilow's free plan covers 3 ad accounts with no credit card required.

The Bottom Line

Skaler is a creative research and analytics tool with a large ad library and AI scoring. It's positioned as an all-in-one platform for creative strategists. At $83/month for one ad account, the cost adds up if you're managing multiple accounts.

Wilow does both halves for Meta: research any brand's live ads free, and see which of your own ads are actually working. It has no Chrome extension and its library is Meta-only rather than a multi-platform database. If your work is mostly discovery across platforms, Skaler fits better. If you want to know what is working in your own account and still be able to check a competitor, Wilow is the simpler tool at a lower price.
